Environmental Remediation Coordinator

LIUNA Training is currently seeking an individual with a background in Environmental Remediation. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of hazardous material removal including asbestos and lead. Some experience in construction, demolition, training and management is also a plus. The successful candidate will participate in curriculum development, and coordinate/deliver training classes throughout the US and Canada. Some travel will be required.

Our Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • An understanding of relevant regulatory standards, especially for Hazardous Material remediation, asbestos abatement and lead abatement
  • Field experience in removing hazardous materials, demolition and/or construction
  • A complete understanding of OSHA regulations and certifications
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable addressing groups particularly in a classroom setting
  • Experience training others in Hazardous Waste Removal is a plus

Construction Skills Coordinator

LIUNA Training is currently seeking an individual to support our growing team with expertise in Construction Skills Training. The ideal candidate will bring an established work history in construction and demolition to our team. You will support our network of over 70 afilliated training centers through curriculum development, on-site training and by providing great customer service. Some travel will be required.

Our Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • 5+ years of construction field experience
  • Construction Supervisory experience; Foreman, General Foreman
  • A passion for sharing your knowledge with others
  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable addressing groups particularly in a classroom setting
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience in training and developing and/or collaborating on instructional content is a plus

LIUNA Training is currently seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of safety as it pertains to an active construction jobsite. You will support our affiliate training network through curriculum development, on-site training and ensuring that all applicable industry standards are being met. Some travel will be required.

Our Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • College Degree or commensurate industry field experience
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, Site Safety Plans and Job Safety Analysis
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable addressing groups particularly in a classroom setting
  • Operational knowledge of general industry and construction activities
  • Experience in developing and/or collaborating on instructional content is a plus
