Construction Safety Coodinator
LIUNA Training is currently seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of safety as it pertains to an active construction jobsite. You will support our affiliate training network through curriculum development, on-site training and ensuring that all applicable industry standards are being met. Some travel will be required.
Our Ideal Candidate would possess:
- College Degree or commensurate industry field experience
- Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, Site Safety Plans and Job Safety Analysis
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable addressing groups particularly in a classroom setting
- Operational knowledge of general industry and construction activities
- Experience in developing and/or collaborating on instructional content is a plus
