Our training centers are the heart of our program delivery.

We develop the curriculum and train the instructors, but our 70 plus affiliated training centers are the delivery system for our programs. They are the front lines of LIUNA training and our link to LIUNA workers. So another priority role for LIUNA Training is to support and advise our training centers. We act as consultants and subject matter experts to help training centers stay on the cutting edge of trade training, whether the topic is computer questions or industry updates.

We offer an extensive menu of support services:

  • Technical Assistance – Provide information on industry trends, relevant government regulations, new technologies, and support for new program implementation.
  • Accreditation and Certification – Identify opportunities and requirements, help with applications; develop model programs, apply for college credit recommendations.
  • Resource Development – Develop grant proposals for national programs, help write state and local proposals, provide leadership and administrative training.
  • Information Technology (IT) – Provide computer hardware and software support, training tracking system development and maintenance, administrative support through online systems, and computer training.
  • Training and Program Evaluation – Provide grant program monitoring, program audit services, course monitoring and instructor evaluations.

Training centers decide what type and when they need assistance and we are always ready to lend a helping hand. Regardless of the scope or size of the issue, we will try to find a solution.
