We share our grant expertise for increased funding.

Since 1987, LIUNA Training has submitted applications and received federal grants from many different agencies: the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), to name a few. Our track record is impressive: to date, we have been awarded $185 million in external grant funding for our curriculum development and training programs.

Training centers benefit from our expertise. Funds from LIUNA Training's grant programs support workforce training conducted by the sites. Often these programs lead to new career opportunities and they always promote worker safety.

We also help training centers apply for their own grant support. We can identify funding opportunities, write or review proposals, and provide administrative guidance and support. If needed, we'll even assign a LIUNA Training staff person to develop, write, and submit the grant for the affiliate training center.
