We help affiliates gain accreditation.

Accreditation and certification ensure that training programs and training providers meet accepted professional standards. In a highly competitive employment environment, students want to know that their training meets all regulations and will prepare them for good jobs. Accreditation and certification help provide that assurance.

International Accreditation Services (IAS) Accreditation

Since receiving IAS accreditation, LIUNA Training has begun helping affiliate training centers achieve the same designation. For those who want our help, we have developed guidance documentation and offer start-to-finish assistance from staff experienced in the credentialing process.

Asbestos & Lead Program Accreditation

Before training centers can conduct asbestos or lead abatement training, they must be approved or accredited through the appropriate state or federal regulatory agency. We help training centers obtain first-time or renewal accreditation for both programs. We offer as much or as little help as the Center wants. We'll review regulations, assemble curricula documentation, develop a Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) plan or just review the completed application packet. Successful applications mean that important industry training is available to our members.

Special Programs Certification Support

Sometimes, certain state or local agencies require certification in a subject area before allowing an instructor or training organization to teach it; examples include programs such as Traffic Control Supervisor and Technician and Hoisting and Rigging. LIUNA Training provides all instructor training, program documentation and technical support necessary to help affiliate training centers receive appropriate certification(s).

Accredited or certified training can set one labor pool apart from another, and we help ensure that member certifications receive the quality recognition they deserve.
