New Instructor Training
The New Instructor Training program provides instructors with key "survival" skills needed as a new trainer. The focus is on presentation skills, principles of adult learning, using LIUNA Training curriculum and managing the learning environment. Instructors build their confidence as they practice their skills and receive feedback from the facilitator and other participants. At the conclusion of the training, instructors should be ready to teach their first class. The New Instructor Training consists of a week long session, a six week long break where skills can be practiced at training centers, and a two-day follow-up training session.
